We are pleased to announce the second talk in a series of lectures 'A Postcard from London' in which Lydia Bauman, artist and National Gallery Guide, introduces exhibitions currently in London. This time round we have Lucian Freud: Portraits which is currently showing at the National Portrait Gallery, London from Thursday 9 February - Sunday 27 May 2012.
Lucian Freud (1922 - 2011) was one of the most important and influential artists of his generation. Paintings of people were central to his work and this major exhibition, spanning over seventy years, is the first to focus on his portraiture - Come join us to learn more about this timely exhibition.
Please note that there is no disable access to the Theatre, where this lecture will take place.
